Peter Jones Enterprise students studying at South Essex College were given a real taste of the working world when they joined business executives for an intensive leadership and management courses, which saw the concept of ‘day in the life training’ taken to the next level. Business leaders from international professional services firm Grant Thornton went as far as to chaperone the students on the early commuter train from Southend into the City of London, to give them a real taste of working life.
